Go to the Apple menu and select SYSTEM PREFERENCES:
Select SPEECH:
Select TEXT TO SPEECH:
Click SPEAK SELECTED TEXT WHEN THE KEY IS PRESSED
Click SET KEY
Hold COMMAND OPTION and press S to set combination
Text to speech is now enabled.
To use this feature, highlight text and press COMMAND OPTION S.
The computer will speak the selected text back to you.
